Migrate from legacy Atomicat

Open /migrate and enter the email used for your legacy Atomicat account. AtomicPlayer sends a six-digit code; enter it to start the migration. The migration requests eligible videos, players, and workspace data from Atomicat.

Track progress

The page polls the migration every few seconds and lists each non-skipped step. Your migration ID and temporary access token are kept in session storage so a refresh can resume the status view. Statuses include queued, running, verifying, completed, blocked, and failed.

If the run is blocked or failed, your source data remains unchanged and a Retry migration control is available. When it is completed, sign in to AtomicPlayer and inspect the imported workspace.

Eligible workspace managers may also see a migration action in the dashboard sidebar. If no migration action appears, the workspace or account is not currently marked eligible. Do not create duplicate uploads while a migration is running.

After completion, review Workspaces and navigation and uploading your first video.

Frequently asked questions

What does the migration import?

It requests eligible videos, players, and workspace data from the legacy Atomicat account tied to the verified email.

Can I refresh the page while migration is running?

Yes. The migration ID and temporary access token are stored for the browser session so the status view can resume after a refresh.

Will retrying a blocked or failed migration change my source data?

No. Source data remains unchanged, and the page offers Retry migration for blocked or failed runs.

Why is there no migration action in my sidebar?

The sidebar action appears only for eligible workspace managers. You can still use /migrate with the legacy account email.
