Ask AI (the copilot)
Ask AI is the chat surface for Atomicat AI. Open it from Ask AI in the sidebar and type a question in plain English—Atomicat AI answers with the chart already drawn, not a wall of dashboards. It has full context on your videos, every experiment, retention curve, revenue line, and CTA.
Where to find it
Click Ask AI in the left navigation to open /ask-ai. The page has conversation history and a responsive composer; on smaller screens, use the history button to open the list.
Start a chat
- Click New chat at the top of the thread sidebar (or open Ask AI with no thread selected).
- On the welcome screen, either click a capability tile (Analyze, Diagnose, Write, Test, Forecast, Optimize) or a starter prompt, or type your own question.
- Press Enter to send. Shift + Enter adds a new line.
The first message you send becomes the thread title automatically. Atomicat AI shows a Thinking… state, then returns the answer.
Manage threads
Every conversation is saved in the left Chats sidebar so you can come back to it later. Threads are grouped Pinned, Today, Yesterday, Previous 7 days, and Older.
- Pin / Unpin — open the thread's ⋯ menu. A workspace can pin up to five chats.
- Rename — open the ⋯ menu and choose Rename to give the thread a clearer name.
- Delete — open the ⋯ menu and confirm deletion.
Search and sharing are not current Ask AI controls.
Scope a question to one video
Open a video detail page to use the embedded Ask AI panel. It receives that video as page context and displays Asking about this video — you don't need to name it; capability tiles also switch to video-scoped prompts.
On the standalone /ask-ai page, name a video id or title in your prompt, or open a link carrying videoId context. Analytics digest follow-ups can also open Ask AI with a prepared prompt and relevant video context.
Starter prompts and follow-ups
- Starter prompts appear on the empty state under Or try a starter prompt. Click one to send it immediately—useful examples include "Which video has the worst hook?" and "Forecast revenue for next 14 days at current spend."
- Follow-up chips appear under each answer (for example, Show me the retention curve, Project next week, Where is the risk?). Click a chip to ask that question without retyping.
Atomicat AI can analyze your videos, draft copy, and forecast outcomes—always sanity-check important decisions before you act on them.
Streaming, errors, and action cards
Answers stream through Reading your data and Writing states. A completed answer can contain formatted narrative, a chart, and follow-up chips.
Some answers include an action card with a target and before/after values. You must Confirm or Cancel it. Draft player changes remain drafts; publishing is a separate, explicitly labeled live action. Cards can also create, launch, pause, or resume an A/B test and manage domain rules. Expired cards must be requested again, and users without editor access see a permission error.
If sending fails, the prompt is restored for retry. Ask AI separately reports exhausted AI credits and plans without Ask AI entitlement. See AI availability.

Frequently asked questions
Where are my chats saved?
In History, grouped by recency (Pinned, Today, Yesterday, Previous 7 days, Older). Current controls support rename, pin/unpin, and delete; there is no chat search or share control.
How do I scope a question to one video?
Use the embedded Ask AI panel on that video's detail page for automatic context. On /ask-ai, name the video id/title or open a product link that passes videoId context.
Can I reuse a suggested question?
Yes. Click any follow-up chip under an answer, or a starter prompt on the welcome screen, to send it without retyping.
