Lead capture

Lead Capture pauses the video and shows a local form gate before playback continues. Forms can appear inline over the player or take over the frame.

Where to find it​

  • Workspace defaults — Player Studio → Conversion → Lead Capture.
  • Per video — a video's Customize tab → Lead Capture.

Turning on the form​

  1. Turn on Enable Lead Capture.
  2. Under Trigger, choose On start, At pitch, or Timestamp.
  3. Under Style, choose Inline or Fullscreen gate.
  4. Use Collect to select Email, Name, Phone, and/or Company.
  5. Set Headline, Body copy, Button text, Success message, and optional Consent copy.
  6. Select Save, then Publish defaults for workspace settings or Publish to this video for a per-video edit.

Trigger timing​

Trigger controls where the form interrupts:

  • On start — at the beginning.
  • At pitch — at the configured Pitch Reveal second.
  • Timestamp — at a specific second.

Fields​

Toggle the fields you want on the form:

  • Email
  • Name
  • Phone
  • Company

Configure only fields that match the gate you intend to present.

Current data behavior​

The current player validates the fields in the browser, replaces the form with the success message, and resumes playback. It deliberately does not retain or transmit the entered values. It emits an atomicplayer:convert signal with operational metadata—the configured field names only.

There is currently no lead-submission store, CRM/webhook delivery of form values, attributed-lead report, Lead captures Overview card, or CSV export in the production dashboard/runtime.

Best practices​

  • Preview each trigger and field combination before publishing.
  • Do not use this gate as a lead-delivery workflow until a backend collection integration is available.

When should the form appear?

Use Trigger to choose On start, At pitch, or Timestamp.

How do captured leads reach my CRM?

They do not in the current runtime. Entered values are discarded; only a metadata-only conversion signal with configured field names is emitted.

Can I export lead submissions?

No. The current dashboard has no lead-submission report or CSV export.
