Mini Hook

Mini Hooks are timed image overlays—a visual interruption mid-video (bonus graphic, testimonial, urgency badge) without rebuilding the whole timeline.

Where to configure​

  1. Open Videos and click your video.
  2. Open Customize → Mini Hooks.
  3. Add one or more hooks. Each item has artwork, a Timing range, and a position: TL, TR, Center, BL, or BR.
  4. Select Save, then Publish to this video. Existing embeds use the stable player ID and do not need to be recopied.

Creative guidance​

  • Keep overlays readable on mobile.
  • Avoid clickbait that contradicts the spoken script.
  • Coordinate with Smart Autoplay (guide) so viewers are not hit with two competing overlays back-to-back.

Can I add multiple hooks?

Yes. Customize → Mini Hooks supports multiple timed overlays on the same video.

Does Mini Hook pause the video?

The panel controls when the image shows. Always preview on a staging page to confirm playback behavior.
